How much did Guy Martins WW1 tank cost

Saw the repeat of Guy Martins WW1 tank, anyone know what the total cost to build it, although i have heard that JCB done it as a freebee.

I was involved with the programme and I couldn't tell you what the cost was so I'm afraid you'll just have to carry on wondering.

I have no idea, but having seen a TV production team at work, I suspect it was not the biggest cost in making the programme.

Probably catering, I saw the BBC at work near where I used to work.

It definitely wasn't catering...

Remember that JCB didn't make the whole tank. They made the hull only. The costs will be in the accounts of the TV production company, not JCB.

Well they've started selling DVDs of the programme, so I imagine it cost more than they wanted it to!

It's cost would have been worked out exactly, before the program was commissioned. DVDs are a normal part of the making of programs these days. The program was made by North One Television. Just take a look at their other programs. https://www.imdb.com/search/title?companies=co0123995
