A great deal of writing on rear of picture, unfortunately v hard to decipher. Haven't got time to struggle through it at the mo. I think it begins: "Erst gegen 8 Uhr bin ich zurückgekommen . . ." (I didn't get back until about 8 o'clock . . .) The best I can do.

The text written on the frontpage reads: "Unsere schweren Zugschlepper im Trichtergelände" - our heavy tractive haulers in cratered terrain. The text written on rear bears no relevance to the Überlandwagen. Max, the writer, complains of being tired and finding no rest and that he still hopes to spend the Easter holidays with his beloved (to whom the postcard is addressed). A lot of bickering and speculation about leave, but nothing interesting. At least the guy - "despite all the toil" - is still healthy.
There were 59 standard Überlandwagen (at least 3 of them were not used at the front) plus 3 special anti-aircraft Überlandwagen armed with 2 AA guns each (one had German 77 mm guns, two had captured Russian 76,2 mm guns).
