Thanks for letting me onto this forum. In recent weeks I've finally got round to work on a large scale model of the Mk V tank in Meccano. I've just about completed a representation of the 6 cylinder Ricardo engine and some of the front section of main frame. Proving very useful for reference is the 1/35th scale Mk V model by Meng which I assembled earlier in the year. Right now I'm trying to understand how the various levers and rods function which control such as clutch and brake etc. If anyone can point me in the direction of any decent images of the real thing our any other information which might help I would be very grateful.
