Woolwich, 1932, allegedly. Although that looks like a B-Type bus behind it. Destination board reads "Blackheath," I think. Friends of London Transport Museum say the B-Type was finally retired from service in London in 1928. That's the best I can do.

That's excellent work, Detective James.

I had a poke around on Getty and found another photo of this tank on this lorry. It has this caption: 

"A First World War Mark IV tank is transported along Beresford Square from the Rotunda Museum where it had been on public display to the Royal Woolwich Arsenal before being sent to Sheerness where it was to be used for artillery target practice at the Ravelin Battery range on 23 June 1932 in London, United Kingdom"
