German a/c colours

I am curious about the paint scheme shown on the Landships site for the Erhardt E-V/4.  The illustration shows a three-colour pattern that I have not seen before.  Does anyone know the origin of the illustration and how accurate it may be?  Would this same scheme be appropriate for the Daimler 21?  I have the Criel model of the Daimler and would really like to finish it in the three-colour pattern.

I can tell you where the illustration is from, if it's the one I think you mean - it's from B T White's classic 'Tanks and Other Armoured Fighting Vehicles1900-1918', published in 1970. The illustrations tend to be from photographs, and in terms of shape are generally pretty accurate. Mr White says, in a charming preface, that the colours '...depend on such meagre written facts as exist: no colour photographs are of course available, and such paintings as are relevant cannot necessarily be guaranteed to be accurate.'

Of course, much research has taken place since, and I'm sure others who frequent this board will say something concrete about that.
