A good pic of the KuK 9cm FK M75/96. I say "good pic" because it illustrates the spade folded up in the stored position. Though a non-recoil piece, these guns were up-graded with the spade and most were given splinter shields at the close of the century. A divisional piece, many Hoved units had not received the hew 8cm M05 at the start of hostilities, and this piece went to war in stead.
