Interesting. I was looking at details of the front to see if it was possible to ID it. It seems to be a converted female front from the second batch and I don't think it has shackles I think it has towing hooks. Looking at pictures of the second batch tanks I found four that match.
526 Alter Fritz, 527 Lotti, 561 Nixe and 563 Wotan.
Anyone know the identity of that tank?
While trying to find it's identity I noticed something that I had missed about the A7V. The rivet pattern differs between batch one and two. I knew that the rivet spacing differed along the roof line in the front but it never occurred to me that it would be different altogether.
I also noticed that 529 Nixe II that is of the second batch has a front from the first batch.
This mean that I have to replace rivets on three of my A7V's that I'm building. Strange that I should find this out before finishing them.
