Having just painted 5 whippets from PSC (15mm) - nice models for the size I am considering returning back to 1/72 ie the Emhar kit. I would like to upgrade the model using Matador model conversion set.
1. Anyone used it?
2. Although they appear online are they still selling stuff as their website does not appear to be up to date.
Matador Models have always been snail-mail only. I haven't had a problem with them, but I haven't ordered anything from them in years. When I did order, everything about the process was 'old-school'; I wrote a letter detailing what I wanted, and I included a cheque drawn on a UK bank, and then I waited. I think it was about three weeks before the stuff arrived, and everything was complete.
But that was years ago and since that time we have had a pandemic. Quite a few little model companies are retiring or have already retired.
