A travelling tower

I don't think that I showed this build here before.

I added plastic strips to a Mk.IV Female from Emhar. The Royal Navy used one Mk.IV tank to tow airships.

A part of the airship would be nice but I don't know how to attach it and getting the tank built is a challenge enough.

But at least I have finished the tower.

I was inspired by a 1/35 scale build that I saw on "the net". It had a long crank running up to the top of the turret but I can't see a use for a crank. I suspect it is a sort of pole to lift the shackle when the airship is connecting to it but as I can't find any good pictures of it I've improvised.

I learned that the Female Mk.IV had a double row of rivets at the top of the sponsons, I added that with an incorrect pattern. I'm also adding rivets to the sponson roof. I am trying Archer Fine Transfers for this for the first time.

I have decided to call it finished.

As I said, a piece of an airship attached to it would have been nice.

I added a sailor from the Matchbox flower class corvette to show it is a Navy tank.
