Saint-Chamond lozenge tank?

Hi all. There are a couple of drawings of a proposed Saint Chamond tank obviously based on a Mk. V at:
http://www.chars-francais.net/archives/saint-chamond.htm
It's the last two pictures on the page. I like it for the hull mounted main gun and the medieval looking machine gun sponsons. Does anyone know of any other sketches of this machine, or any other sources of information? Was construction ever started on one? There was a similar British proposal that I've only seen text references to. I'm thinking it could be an interesting model at some time down the line. Thanks in advance,

Actually I find that sometimes the search doesn't! Even when I know theres a thread on the subject in there. We could do with an index by vehicle, gun etc. Is there any easy way of achieving this does any one know?

I don't know if the forum can have its own index but an entry could  be made in the miniWIKI indexing the forum. It would be a Herculean task and would need updating at least twice a week.


P.S.: Another problem is that quite often a thread gets started on one subject and ends up covering other questions (such as this post and the previous post).
