Development of Wedding Bells

In the thread on RR armoured cars someone mentioned Wedding Bells. I've opened this new thread as this car doesn't neatly fit into the catalogue having gone. through at least two metamorphoses.

The car started life in 1911 as one of the Rajah of Ticca's fleet. Although most texts describe it as a standard Silver Ghost 40/50 hp none of the various RRs supplied to the various Indian princes was 'standard' usually having a sumptious interior specially made to the customer's requirements and frequently have solid silver fittings (horn, handles etc etc). (The Rolls Royce historical section had a project tracking down the history of each of these vehicles and I was lucky enough to have sight of some of the findings).

In 1914 the Rajah as a patriotic prince in Imperial India donated the car to the central government. All the hand tooled bodywork was stripped off and an armoured body fitted. It was given the number 2641 and saw active service on the frontier. (see first photo attached).

In 1919 an new body was fitted (but the number 2641 retained)- this was designed and built in the Gun Factory at Jubbulpore (splendid name). The new body although superficially similar to an Admiralty Pattern is entirely unique to this car (see 2nd photo) with an octagonal turret and a longer fighting compartment to mention but some of the features specific to this car.

It got the name Wedding Bells after being used as the bridal car for the wedding of the adjutant of the 1st Armoured Motor Brigade in 1920

The car remained in service into the begining of WW2

How one fits this into the list of RR types is interesting - does it merit two entries?
