I have been thinking about an addition to our AWESOME site, a place to buy, sale, or trade models, books, magazines figures etc., dealing with our hobby.
I have talked it over with Peter and he agreed it was a great idea. I think it would be a great way to promote our hobby as well as help each other out.
I know I have duplicates of things I would be willing to sale or trade, I am also willing to help search for things one may want at my local Hobby Stores and Model Shows, all you have to do is list the items wanted.
Even though we have friends and members in quite a few countries, I am sure we can work out something between each other, that would be applicable, like a trade etc.,
“That you can work out between the seller and interested party”
“LEGAL ISSUES”
Ok ok, I know, boring stuff!!!!, but it has to be addressed. LANDSHIPS, PETER KEMPF (Owner) or I TIM RIGSBY (Forum Moderator) hold no responsibility to any item listed in this section for sale, or trade, for its condition, shipment issues, prices, money or merchandise exchange. All responsibility lies with the buyer, seller and trader involved “SOLEY”
( In other words take your issues up with each other off the forum)
Hopefully, since we are all gentlemen here, no such issues will arise.
So with this said, let’s make this a positive thing, I encourage you all to dig through your stuff, and keep an eye open for interesting thing to post for sale or trade.
All the Best
Tim Rigsby

I am selling some WW1-related kits on Ebay right now (www.ebay.com) under the nickname josseposse, in the section Toys & Hobbies, Models, kits, Military, Armor.
1 AER 76mm Putilov & tractor 1 LOT of 5 WW1 Arty kits in white metal 1 Modelkrak Russo-Balt 2 Kora A7V kits (Röchling & Krupp variants) 1 LOT of 2 FT-17 kits, one of them a rare Retromodels resin kit
All are 1/72-76.
Plus 2 kits of WW2 interest: the most interesting one a rare ESCI 1/72 Semovente SP Gun
I think that photos/images of the models is a must or at least a link to a site that shows photos for the people like myself who arent overly familiar with these sort of models.
Hi All , I'm looking to dispose of 4 Boxes of Revell 2504 WW1 German infantry complete on sprues in boxes and I'm open to offers for either sale or trade, anyone interested should contact me via the private messages on this forum..
These figures mix very well with the 2 emhar sets....
If you dont know what these figures look like check out plastic soldier review:
Hi All, Also for sale or trade 2 ex Toko Sopwith Snipes(Eastern Express) complete in boxes with decals these kits are suitable for The Russian Civil war1919 as they represent the later aircraft.....makes up into a very nice model...
That would be a great addition to the site, I think. However the majority builds 1/72 scale armour. It would also be beneficial if reliable dealers of 1/35 armour could be quoted. I already got the tip about Jadar Models which proved to be very useful and of course their are the recommendations on this site, but more information is always useful.
i dont have a five star to sell (just made mine and trying to photograph it), but cromwell have made some changes:
1. i bought from them recently and the service was fast!!! 2. they have a new range called 'combat direct 1/76'
i dont think these changes have been shown on their website.
in their new range (combat direct 1/76) the mark five star price has dropped substantially from £24 down to £14.50.
however, you dont get the choice of sponsons or the two crew figures.
'CD109' is the male version, and 'CD110' is the female version, and there isnt a composite (hermaphrodite) version. and i think (if the mark eight i received is typical) the kit will be mostly completed, with only a few hatches to be stuck on.
not sure if this helps, but the price drop makes the kit more realistically priced.

I got my Mk V* from their stand at the Glasgow show recently,it does seem simplified from the one Peter reviews i.e no unditching beam rails.I was offered a choice of male or female versions. Did any one see the Wilfred Owen documentary, footage of the tanks looked like MkVIIIs on exercise,an excellent programme. TTFN
Thanks! Yes I did. Also...I managed to get my hands on one of the 1/72 Emhar kits last weekend. That detail is just too delicate. I think I'll be taking the 1/35 route after all. Scratchbuilding/detailing/weathering in that scale is so much easier. Availability is an issue, but I do not finish that many models per year that this would become a problem.
Good luck, Aaron. They're as scarce as hen's teeth everywhere. Airfix discontinued them in 2006 (I think) shortly before going under (again). Maybe one day they'll release it again, possibly as a Mk II or maybe even a supply tank. Seems like they're re-releasing the old kits with a few more parts added. If you really need one soon, about the only place to look is the Bay of e.
Hello there, I'm new here and an avid WWI German Army modeler. I am currently searching the wide web over referred here from smallscale.de and was told that this would be the place to find what I'm looking for. I seek rare and discontinued Fine Scale Factory models of the following flavors:
FSFWE016 German trench raiders with dog
FSFWE009 Artillery transport with figure
FSFWE015 German artillery spotting wagon
FSFWE014 German gun shells and grenades
FSFWE008 German heavy howitzer 42cm Big Bertha
FSFWE012 German medium field wagon (looking for 2)
FSFWE010 German ammo trailer
If you have any of these and would like to donate, please email me at landkomtur.theorder@gmail.com or by posting a reply to me here on this forum, and we can arrange some sort of thing through paypal. Thanks for your time, Josh.

In 1/72nd scale, you can try the webshops of Jadar or Tracks & Troops, who sell the Modelkrak Russo Balt. It's a resin model of very high quality and worth every penny.

Not exactly WW1, but for those who like peculiar inter-war vehicles:
Impressive scratchbuilt Tatra T18 armored draisine (railway trolley) for use on large track size G (Lehmann etc. tracks).
The armored draisine is controllabe on same-current tracks and is a unique replica of the Tatra T18 draisine made with 1930s camo-scheme metal handles and grips and (hand) moveable turret.
The Polish Army ordered six Tatra T18 armored trolleys in 1926 to support their armored trains as reconnaissance vehicles, and a single example was ordered by the Czechoslovak armored battalion at Milovice [...]. Thisparticular vehicle was later seized by the Germans, serving with PZ 1, and a captured Polish T18 was used with PZ 7. (Source: Zaloga - Armored Trains (Osprey))
I've also got the following pre-WW2 stuff to offer - prefer trading to moving money around:
Revell Royal Horse Artilley 1815 (complete on sprue in box)
Strelets Crimean War British Heavy Dragoons (complete, loose in box)
Matchbox Renault FT17 tracks: one complete set of soft plastic tracks
Lledo Days Gone DG 16 Dennis Parcels Van, Diecast Van with Hudson's Dry Soap advertisement "Used in all the Happy Homes of England"
HäT WW1 German Heavy Weapons set (this is not the complete set but only one of the four identical sprues: 18 figures with a dog, several types of machine guns, mortars, AT guns and other weapons; comes without box)
HäT WW1 Russian Heavy Weapons set (this is not the complete set but only one of the four identical sprues: 25 figures to crew the included weapons which are one Maxim MG on Sokolov carriage, one 47 mm Lihonin mortar and one 58 mm mortar; comes without box)
Atlantic machine guns (no crew): one machine gun for the 1/72 Japanese infantry set (2 parts: barrel, triod), one machine gun for the 1/72 Afrikakorps set, one machine gun for the 1/72 Indian set
If you're into WW2, I've quite a lot of other figures and armour in the same scale to trade but since this is not a WW2 forum, please contact me via Landships whiteboard or Landships private messaging if interested. I'm in Euro-land. Thank you.

Hello Again to all, Anyone know where I could get a pair of Cromwell models LK-II kits second hand, I don't want to go through Cromwell itself, they never reply, and I only get newsletters. Finescalemodeler forum says Alot of people have trouble with ordering from him. Any suggestions?

Hi Josh I think this is a problem with some of the cottage industry.... bad communication with their market and in this case no website either... the only thing I can suggest is finding an online retailer who has what you want, problems with Cromwell seem so common it doesnt seem worthwhile ordering direct...
You might be in luck. Whilst on a random walk through webland I found a German retailer who sells Cromwell Models stuff, but only the German stuff. It was of no use to me, so I walked on, and I forget where I was, now. But they shouldn't be too difficult to find (my search terms are usually obvious, such as "German Model Shops selling Cromwell Models" for example, maybe translated into a different language, just for jolly).
