Nice work on that Breton-Pretot article, Tim! Fascinating to see what the French were up to before producing their first actual fighting tanks.

Thank you Gentleman for your kind words.

For those interested, I have other odd French subjects planed, such as the Frot Laffly Roller Tank, and the Filitz Armored Tractor, that we discussed here awhile back.

Only later did I realise that I should have posted 'C'est magnifique!' Anyway, splendid work, and I look forward very much to your next piece(s)!

Exellent Tim

One thing strikes me and that is the similarity between the baby Holt and the German Goeble's armoured machine - see attached.

Howver I understand that the Goeble was so unsteerable that on the trial in front of the Crown Prince the crew had to get out and push it round in order to turn a corner!

I do agree that the Baby Holt resembles Goeble’s “Landpanzerkreuzer”, While I was researching the Breton-Pretot and the Baby Holt, I noticed there resemblance. I guess it is possible that one or the other took its form from the other. That was a tongue twister. Spies could have connived to one or the other, the layout of a machine they saw. Who knows!!!!!!!

Speculation speculation, especially since both were built and designed in 1915.
