Well, new-ish. A Whippet (Medium A) in two scales, 7mm:foot (1/43) and 4mm:foot (1/76). Also, I see they have plans for two St Chamonds and a Mark V, all in 4mm:foot. Gramodels are here:? http://www.gramodels.co.uk/
There is a silence on Landships about this event. However, for the easter front that was one of the most important battles. ? More about it (in English): http://hungarianconsulate.co.nz/mszo79/79_9.html And how it was celebrated here in Poland in Limanowa: http://www.miasto.limanowa.pl/pl...
Hi all,
I've seen the clock from a Mark 1 at Bovington, and know that early vehicles were also fitted with a compass. But I haven't seen any photos of where they were fitted. Was there a dashboard? Other instruments? Are there any photos showing the commander and drivers stations?
Cheers Dave

I know we've had this discussion before , but what was the verdict on HaT's WW2 German Wagon? Was it used in WW1? Could I get away with using it unchanged for a WW1 scene?
I am interested in finding out an estimated value on a Krupp 21 cm M?rser 10.? I currently work for a municipality who has one on display in a City Park.? I am responsible for drafting a report on the status of all park memorials and an estimated value for insurance purposes.? If anyone knows of one of thes...
Interesting high elevation conversion to this 18 pounder - British crew wearing the Khaki Drill uniform (a cotton, more light coloured version of the Service Dress for use in hotter climates), possibly Salonika (definitely late war as they have Small Box Respirators) ? http://thevintageaviato...
Dear all, again I would like to share with you something from my collection. Today I bought a death card of a Bavarian Tanker of the "Bayerische Strumpanzerwagenabteilung No. 13". He was heavy wounded in the first combat action of the Bavarian tank unit, which was on 27th May 1918. The next...
Charlie, When I click on the "Back to Landships" menu item it takes me back to the original Landships website; note the URL in the lower left corner of the screenshot. ?
Have just been looking through an old thread on the Studebaker tank?and decided to start a new one to add my comments, as the thread had been dormant for over a year. My observation is that the apparent difference between superstructure of the tank in the old photos and in cheffy's new one is not caused b...
The Imperial War Museum have restored the 'Battle of the Ancre and the advance of the Tanks' film, filmed in late 1916 as a sequel to the more well known 'Battle of the Somme' film by Malins and released in 1917 - here's a restored clip of it which many of you will no doubt have seen before showing a Mk 1 Male a...

I am trying to make a list of all the 1/72 or 1/76 Ford Model T models there are available. So far I have the 3 from RPM, 3 from Matador Models, 2 from Scale Link, and a whopping 10 from Reviresco. I am a bit concerned about those from Reviresco because?I am sure he used to have them listed as 1/64, but now that h...
Since trenches in various scales seem to be the in thing I thought I would share these. The vignette was built by Mike Fleckenstein from the States. Like all his other work it is great. Why can't I do something similar ?????
EWM are proud to announce these new additions to our "Over The Top" range of WW1 products which are the first batch of the Kaisers Stormtroopers. These are new designs by Tom Lobley and myself. This initial batch of designs for which there are 26 new figures plus equipments ?like the ?Sturm...
By "tank battle" I mean the mass use of tanks, not tank-vs-tank. I know this has been discussed before but I can't find the thread: my apologies, James. We hear a lot about 15th September 1916 when?30-odd Mark I tanks crawled into history, and we hear a lot about 20 November 1917 with its 400-...
The vehicle in the link here is called "The English Track White Observation Car" and was apparently built in Britain on a White chassis (see mailer.fsu.edu); what I'm wondering is, is this an example of the wire-rope suspension used on the Medium D and M1922 tanks? It looks as though it fit...
Hello, I'm new to the forum but not to Great War models. I'm a professional architectural modelmaker but do military stuff for fun. My favourite scale is 1.285 which is very small but I love the challenge. When I've got my bearings I'll try and post some photos of my work. I have a trench model and am makin...
