Hi I am new to this forum and would really appreciate some help identifying this piece. I was told it is a German WW1 77mm piece. It certainly is 77mm but the shield looks totally different to others i have seen. Also I can't find any markings (although they may be hidden). ? Thanks in advance. ? Andy
The good news is that Masterclub's new MG08 kit is out and I bought it and it looks good. The bad news is that there are no directions to put it together.? Help!

Joseph Vollmer designed Germanys first tank, the A7V. He also designed the K-Wagon, both incredibly unweildly and quite a failure as far as cross country fighting effectiveness went. However, Vollmer also designed the LK-II, and most German tanks of WWI.
He later designed the wheel&track KH...

I'm at present reading Jon Morse's rather odd memoir entitled 'In the Russian Ranks: A Soldier's Account of the Fighting in Poland'. ? In this, Morse, describing the winter of 1914-15, mentions "the Bactrian camels which are used in their thousands for Russian transport". ?These, he st...

Hi, I've just been on the Daily Mail's website and they have an article about a German shelter that has been found and excavated in France - with the remains of 21 lost soldiers inside, buried by an explosion just days before the Spring Offensive began in 1918.
