I hope this post isn't too much off-topic, but since I've read Charlie's interesting article on 7.5cm Gebirgskanone M1904 I felt it was worth sharing some info from Switzerland. Especially since last year I had a great opportunity to visit the field artillery collection in Thun. This display is onl...

Miniairons is a new manufacturer from Spain who seems quite responsive as far as customers' suggestions are concerned. I would like to lobby them to produce the two standard guns in the Spanish army of 1936 (so, most common guns in the Civil War). These are a) Ca??n Schneider (75/28) Modelo 1917http:...

Not sure if this should be under tanks or artillery. An article, presumably translated from the French, has been circulated within the Gold Reef Scale Modellers' Club (Johannesburg) about the above-mentioned vehicle giving the history of the four FCM-built SPGs with 305 mm guns up to the destruct...

Apologies to those easily offended by non strictly WW1 stuff. It seems a couple of German AA guns of 1931 Rheinmetall design have surfaced in Afghanistan. How they got there is much debated, but I am posted the link here because the cammo pattern reminds me of the one seen on German WW1 guns: http://www...
