The following piece of text about the St Chamond can be found on a number of web pages:
There are unsubstantiated stories about Poland using the tank against the Red Army in 1920. If true these specimens were in all probability not captured from the Soviet Army - the latter never having had any opport...

Hi all, I'm looking for any books on Artillery. I want a book similar to the Blandford Press or I-Spy books, ideally. Something with a big, colour?picture on every page and covering every gun and howitzer, from every nation, up to 1925. Does such a book exist? TIA
Been having a look at photos of the dummy run. David Fletcher says the Tank tracks were fitted with "special claws" or "sharp metal teeth" which "dug into the fabric of the (sea) wall". I have to say that I can't see any such claws or teeth in the photos of the rehearsals...
I am building a mark 1 male tank. The tail wheels fitted to these but later removed as they did not help with the steertage. Can anybody help with info or drawings of said wheels and structure that they hung from ?

I could be making a fool of myself here, but I've only just discovered that replica Tanks appear in this film, and AFAIK they haven't been discussed on the forum. Haven't seen the film, but have a horrible feeling that the list of inaccuracies of all kinds will be lengthy. I enclose a still that suggests...

Recently I had a discussion about incidents during the Kapp-Putsch in mid-march 1920 in Dresden. During a battle between Reichswehr and left-wing protesters a Panzerwagen or Panzerauto with name "Siegfried" was blown up. One report claims "Siegfried" was blotch camoufl...

I love old popular science magazines, and have downloaded images and pages from the internet over the years on a very random basis. However, I've just discovered how to download whole pages from Google Books, and what a treasure trove of old popular science magazines it is! Here, for example, is an ar...
According to an online encyclopaedia that anyone can edit, Tanks were deployed on 15th Sept. 1916, and, amongst other things, "were even driven through houses to destroy machine gunner's emplacements." I don't recall hearing of that. Anyone substantiate?
