Dear all, can anyone help? Since a few days I try to remember where I have seen this: a drawing of a tank (FT 17?) with a marking on the turret. It was a white "V" in a white cirlce. Maybe the ground colour of the circle was a dark blue. Which nation / units used this kind of markings? What time? I hop...

Can anyone identify this gun that was used in the Mexican Civil War, but looks to me as if she predates that conflict by some years. I apologise for the poor workmanship of the photographer, but cerveza is cheap in Mexico! http://www.flickr.com/photos/7700258@N05/937657318 and http://www.flic...

This gun has been moldering away at the Maryborough Army depot since it was allocated to the 47th Btn in 1920/21. Recently the local colonial and military museum is looking at acquiring it from the Australian Army and restoring it (after a bit of prompting by one of my colleagues in the historical gun s...
Hi All, I am looking to build a 1/35 scale model of the armoured rail car as depicted in the photo on page 44 of the Osprey book "German Panzers 1914 - 1918" by Steven Zaloga. I am looking for info, pics, drawings, plans, anything on the guns used on this carriage. They are?described as pedesta...
I've opened this up as the Madsen thread seemed to be drifting this way. So new readersmight want to look at the last few postings to that thread first.
There seems to have been something odd about the way in which the American forces ended up with French machine guns. See the following two quotes from...
I acquired a 2nd hand artillery piece which I cannot find on Plasticsoldierreview. It looks like a Schwerer Minenwerfer in 1/72, with the height being until the waist of a standing man, and the length scaling out to about 1,60 meters. It is very simplified and consists of just two pieces, the carriage...

I acquired an image of the attached. The local belief is that it is a Krupp gun from WW1. The AWM records say that a 75mm gun serial 362 was allocated to Ingham in 1920 - it's noted as an Austrian gun. Any ideas on the identification? Regards, Charlie
These can be seen on Zvezda's site. Not quite released yet, as far as I can tell: http://zvezda.org.ru/?nav=2&set=8083 As you can see, there is a drummer and a disco dancer and a bellhop as well as the more usual poses such as walking with rifle, standing with rifle, running with rifle, and fiddli...

Hello all, I'm still researching the MKIV prior to building a replica of the RYDE presentation tank (RE: My earlier posts).
