Hello Guys
I am looking for information and photos of the Schneider Brillie No15 Model 1909 Armoured Truck. I know there was three designs, and the were bought by Spain, I also know there history with the Spanish Army and use during the Riff War. But my information is limited on this version. A...
Good day to you all! looking at some photos of Beute-Mark IV's in the Tankograd books i noticed two hooks on the front of the roof of the drivers cabin. I have not yet found these hooks on a Mark IV in British service but i do not have that much photos. I have also not found these hooks on all other Beute-Ma...
Just thinking. The story usually goes that M was seized, captured, recovered, salvaged by Queensland troops. But according to the v professional graffiti on the side, it was "salved" by 1st Gun Carrier Company, 5th Tank Brigade. We don't know what vehicles were used (GC or Mk IV), Â but so...
This may sound like a strange topic, but I note that most vehicles from the World War One era-not just military-did not have rubber tires. Also the FT tanks had fan belts which often failed in use.  Armor plate manufacturing was still primitive then. Was that the case with rubber?

I have Schnuck on the back burner, but I do have an interest in depicting any landship from the time period mentioned above. There are the British tanks of course, but I was wondering about the French ones.  Trouble is, the Schneider kits I heard of are inaccurate, and the Takom kits are better. But th...
I take it that this is entirely wrong: This is reproduced in Battle Story Cambraiby Chris McNab. If I interpret this correctly, the original publisher, the ILN, appears to believe that these are two shots of the same tank, The Perfect Lady, negotiating a trench, and hasn't noticed that the lower pict...
Hi I have a question about the Oldbury transmission trials, which were conducted in March 1917th. After David Fletcher (Landships - British tanks in the First World War) there were 6 systems have been studied. Five Mark II were made available for and since these were not sufficient, the prototype M...

My Great Grandfather Benjamin Williams was in the Welsh Regiment (service number 16624) and also in the Machine Gun Corps (service number 25263).I have his medals as a starting point, but not a great deal more. Trying to find a Welshman called Williams - Tricky to say the least, especially without a...
It's clear that different police departments, and even different officers within the same city, could face a range of dangerous situations. These call for specialty police (Shadowhawk X800) Flashlights. Almost every officer would be able to utilize a flashlight that can cut through smoke and of...
I'm assuming white walls and ceiling, but what about the floor, seats, etc.? The illustration on the cover of the Osprey book shows a grey floor and a yellow gun. I thought it was colored that way for contrast in the picture, but I'm uncertain how accurate the painting directions are on the Meng kit in...
Greetings, Attached are a few photos of members of the 8th Company, 2nd Air Service Mechanics Regiment posed on FT-17s. Â A few companies of the 2nd Air Service Mechanics were assigned to French personnel to work on tank repairs. Â Perhaps, if forum member "TANKER" (Michael) reads this, he can add to t...
I recently build Kora Lebedenko tank. Resin casting is terrible. I have to completely replace all the girders, weapons and back "deckhouse". It took me 1.5 months to complete. -- Edited by ZigZag on Tuesday 28th of June 2016 06:32:44 AM-- Edited by ZigZag on Tuesday 28th of June 2016 11:48:45 AM
Krupp field gun and Krupp mountain gun of 75mm M/98Hi This are other Krupp guns used by South American armies, and so I have read in the forums are not well known in the world.I did not seen anyone name them specifically, only once I saw a reference of such weapons 1898. But the number of guns is preserved...
Good day to you all! I just finished my Mark V tadpole. I did it by adding the tadpole tails of the Mark IV Tadpole tot the mark V (both Takom). My inspiration was the picture of 9277. A mark V female with her tails on.  Before I can think of painting a question rises:  There is obvious a colour difference be...
I have a couple old Emhar Mark IV tanks here I would like to build but they are going to need a lot of upgrading. Does anyone know if Mr. Modellbau's aftermarket cap made for the Tokam kit will fit the 1/35 Emhar? Thank you.
Hello all It seems that Meng models have issued some crew for the Renault char d assaut ( Or late Saint Chamond and Schneiders ) The mask was not issued to the French before mid 1918 I cannot see the details of the cut out helmet , anyway they were hand made at that time. http://pages14-18.mesdiscussion...
Good morning!  I am making a Mark V tadpole by taking the tale of the Takom Mark IV tadpole and the front of the Mark V. I base this on three known photo's. One is in a book bij David Fletcher. It is Mark V 9001 with a tadpole tale. I can not reproduce it here. The other two are attached (one is 9001 and the other...

As the website http://www.museeaustralien.com/en/?Events explains, the museum is undergoing renovation and the exhibits have been moved to what I suspect are much reduced premises. It should be finished by the end of the year - which means it will have missed the centenary. There might be a very g...
