Not wishing to start a flame war , as this subject does seem to have produced some heated debate in the past, but are we any closer to solving the question, of whether the Stv21 is the LKII, either directly shipped from Germany as a runner, or as a kit? Reading through a couple of old posts, http://...

I'm looking for information with regard to a postcard with a tank shown on it, there is a number on the rear of the tank, the tank seems to have been ditched at the side of the road. The postcard in question looks as though it is from the 3rd Ypres area, the road from St Julien to Ypres, the number is partl...
MiniArt have announced a new range of WW1 models, with 3 for 2019 release. But their 2019 catalogue tantalisingly doesn't identify exactly what they are. No indication even of whether figures or vehicles. Watch this space, I guess.......
I have only just stumbled across the fact that the Mk V in the IWM was at Bovington until 1966, as a "gate guard," presumably in the open. Since we recently dug up some old photos/postcards of Bov tanks outdoors, I wonder if there are any of the Mk V knocking about. -- Edited by James H on Friday 4th of Januar...
These are just a few photos of the Foot and Field Artillery collection taken over the holidays. I am moving the German and French Field Artillery to a new building and that opened up the German Foot Artillery collection for the first time in years, so I took a few photos. For much more see the web site: ...

In Stern's book manuscript he talks about Torpedo Spuds, Unditching Beams and rails then he states that there was a LATER development called the Skew-log Device. Does anyone have photos of this? Skew-Log DeviceA later development of the Unditching Beam was known as the "Skew-Log" unditching Gea...
Having just ordered the mother-lode of supplies to go on top of 'Dodo', I now have a puzzling question - 'How was it tied down?' This is puzzling me on several counts, as follows - i/ I am not aware of any hooks or other tie-downs on top of Supply Tanks. ii/ Most of the stowage is very haphazardly / loosely pi...
MMK are working on a Tatra TL-4 4-tonne truck in 1/35. From the little I can discover, this truck was used by the Austro-Hungarian and potentially also German armies in WW1.
What was the small cylinder used for inside the fighting compartment of the Mediem A Whippet? The pipes that went down to the engine compartment are missing on the Bovington Whippet inside which this photograph was taken.
Hello Gentleman I am in search of photo's of the Improvised artillery RNAS ect., used, often seen towed by Rolls Royce Armored Cars, especially the 3 pounder Hotchkiss. Takom kit. Inspired by, but not directly copied from, the photo behind. It seems to have been through muddy water or watery mud rather than thick mud. I liked the fuel cans and other stowage all over the roof, and chose various period colours for the different fuel brands as well as some khaki ones.
Good day all, I am Owen Mulrooney, 73 year old male from Wilderness, Western Cape, South Africa. I recently suddenly became interested in WW1 armoured cars. I recently built a 1905 Fowler b Armoured tractor as used in the SA Boer War. I think this got the idea going and am now busy with the Holt Steam Whe...
Folks, I am at the point of needing to build one way or another on my current Mk.I Supply project and could easily go with Dodo, as it is well known and relatively well photographed. However, I am curious about '746', being as it seems rather less 'famous'. Apparently, the only differences are the marki...
Yes, the former was decades after the latter. But when I looked up the Franco-Prussian War, the references said that France was regionally divided in their attitudes toward the war. Eastern France and Paris were the ones invaded, of course, but the southern and western regions of France had littl...
Maybe this was asked before, but I remember reading about a German super-big gun that could reach Paris from a very long way away and supposedly was destroyed before it was ever found. Was this really just a legend after all, like the Bermuda Triangle?
