Good morning I am making a video on the Renault FT, so I have a question: Since I do know that it was exported a lot, does anyone wants to help me "track" all the various export models and export variants? So basically to find: - How many nations received FTs - How many tanks were exported to every nation - H...
Some photos of a diorama I built. It’s supposed to be a 9.2” howitzer being taken to the front, hauled by a Holt tractor, somewhere in France on a very soggy day. Scale is 1/35, Roden Holt, howitzer a very well travelled Resicast model....made in Belgium, purchased in Australia, built in the Uk. The dio...

seems like there may still be some remains of the Lancaster presentation tank still in existance . it was removed at the start of ww2 but seems to have been used as a grenade training target by the home guard. after the home guard had finished with it it seems to have been buried at the entrance to what is no...
Is there a picture of the right side of the truck? I was wondering if the gun ports in the sides would have been staggered between the left and right side. I think that having them placed the same would interfere with the corresponding gun port on the other side.Another thing that came to mind is the inter...
I have been trying, on and off, to make a Tank Mark V in 1/72. When I saw Wayne McCullough's card model, years ago, I had the idea of printing it on to Tamiya's Pla-Paper and then somehow (with skills I don't possess) making it into a 'proper' model. But then 3D printing was invented, and my local library go...
Looking for information on the Italian Artillery mounted on a Lancia truck. I have seen a picture somewhere (can't seem to find it) and a miniatures company makes a model (GRF in 15mm). Especially interested in the organization of the unit(s) and what action they saw. Thanks, Chris
How did things get transported? Mostly by horse and carriage? Even in WW2, horses and carriages were used quite a lot by the Wehrmacht. Also, it seems that very few Uberlandwagens were even constructed by the German after all.
Looking for some help with the Copper State Model of the Canadian Armoured Autocar. In the driver's compartment there are two liquid containers: the large one will be the fuel - petrol. I've been trying to sort out the pre-WW1 152mm Russian howitzers. I believe that Russian Army wanted two types of 152mm howitzer, a heavier fortress type and a field howitzer. Both Krupp and Schneider built prototypes with Schneider having the inside running because of the 1907 agreement with Put...
